Spend Less Save More: Waiting for a Sale
By spendlesssavemore on January 08, 2013
When you are clearing out your coupons pay close attention to expiration dates. I was clearing out my coupon binder just a few days ago and noticed that I had a coupon for the food saver $10.00 off and $1.00 off the seal rolls for a food saver. Now I’ve know I wanted and saved for a food saver because I really feel I need one. Living in Texas the cost of most meats is less expensive than most areas of the country so we purchase a great deal of meat and my husband to my delight is a barbecue man. So a food saver is just what I need.
Throughout the winter I’ve kept an eye on the price in November $145.00 ($159.6 with tax) in December early $135.00 in late December $129.00 well just two days ago I saw it online and in my Wal-Mart store for $79.99 refill rolls $19.99 so after using my coupons which these particular coupons I found in my
ALL YOU Magazine early this summer did not expire until 12/31/13 I did have time to use them. However after checking my price book I realized that this price will be the lowest I felt I will find al l year so I purchased it for $96.99 (tax included) and after coupons of $11.00 I saved from the original price $60.70.
Keeping a price book and waiting for sales is important and if you know you really want items it’s worth the wait. I plan on using this item each time I would normally grab for a freezer bag so often.
Know my ALL YOU Magazine paid for itself again that’s my favorite magazine ever it teaches beginners and long time savers tips with each issue and of course you can’t’ beat the coupon which in most case you can’t find anywhere else. So check out ALL You Magazine it’s worth every cent and thismonth there are great offers from ALL You Magazine so check them out and you’ll save all year long.
I will be taking my monthly shopping trip this week. I will be filming from opening the box to freezing my purchases so we can all learn together how to use the food saver. I hope this will help you decided if it is worth the investment. For downloads and more tips go towww.where2save.com
