There is nothing more I love than to have a cup of coffee with my best friend April. We have been friends for over 25 years and don't see each other as often as we would like. When we do get time to visit, we love chatting over coffee - both of us are complete coffee addicts! She is my choice because we have been through so much together, from a car accident to being the maid of honor in each others weddings. I know that no matter what, she will always be there for me as I will for her.

Madonna. I have been her fan since I was a little girl and I am sure that she would be fun and inspirational to talk to. I like women who are progressive and not afraid to speak their mind and get what they want.

If I could have coffee with anyone, it would be the members in my household; and what would make our time together so memorable: we so rarely get together to just have coffee and talk.

I would have coffee with my best friend Tami. We have been BFFs for 36 years and have lived on opposite coasts for 27 of those years. We have shared so much and have always been there for one another. Just sitting down and having a cup of joe with her would be so special because we share such a bond. Miles can separate us but nothing on this earth can come between us as friends. Memories are created in an instant and feelings remain in our hearts forever.

When I was a child he seemed to be such a dynamic personality. We moved away and I only got to see him occasionally until his death. I would love to be able to have coffee and talk with him as an adult.

I love it in the mornings after we get all the kids on the bus to have coffee with the neighbors. We all sit around and just have good 'adult' time before our days start.

would love to have another cup of coffee with my dad. He died 5 years back at 57 years old. We were just beginning to have a great adult relationship. Would love to tell him about his grandson that he never met. I was 7 months pregnant when he passed. That would be so special and worth so much more than coffee with someone famous.

I think Taylor Swift is truly one of the more exciting young country artists of the past twenty-five years. I think she's sincere, thoughtful, and has the qualities to make her meteoric rise sustainable! Sharing a cup of TASTER'S CHOICE with her would be an extreme privilege and an exceptional honor!

My Grandmother. Actually, BOTH of my Grandmothers. One (my paternal) died before my birth, so I never did meet her. But my other one died about seven years ago now. She was a woman I looked up to during my childhood and into my young adult years. I miss her.

This blog was so easy for me. My favorite mornings are just to begin again this year. My husband works from 3 am - 7-8-9 pm, every day. Our only mornings to get up together is Sunday. When he or I make some coffee, sit outside with the slight morning dew, and talk about the kids, the week that is over, and the week that has to begin, the grass, the garden, politics, school functions, sports, the pool, whatever, and we take those two hours and just spend it with each other, outside. Since the economy is so bad, date nights have not happened in years. I really love my husband!

Since I get to have coffee with my regular peeps quite often the only other person I'd like to have coffee with is Mother Teresa so she could pass on to me some of her wisdom on how she became so generous to other people and how she was able to give up all her worldly goods and serve others. I am daily reminded of my selfishness and my lack of love for the unlovely in this world and I'd really like to get onto a path that would bring me to a place of being a better, more generous and loving person. There is so much stress and worry in the world today. If I could learn to get my eyes off my little problems and onto other people, maybe I could made a difference in someone's life.

I have a couple people I would like to have coffee with. One is my grandfather who died when I was a baby. My mother so admired him I would like to talk to him myself and get to know the man he was. I would like to ask him questions about what was happening in the few pictures we have of him, what his life was like when he quit school in the 8th grade to support the family after his father passed away. So much I would like to hear about my families past and grasp what it felt like in their times of happiness and sorrow. I want that connection. The other... Jimmy Stewart because I my favorite movie was Shop Around the Corner with Jimmy Stewart and I find the Hollywood life of the 20's to 40's to be very interesting.

My son passed away 5 years ago. He was 17. I would give anything just to have him back for a few minutes to have a cup of coffee with him. To tell him how much I miss him and how much I love him. I hope to hear him say in his deep voice "Mom you know I love you too." Perhaps as he is drinking his coffee he can straighten out my computer. He was my live in tech support. The computer I am using is one that he built 7 years ago and it is still working. Just to have him back for a few minutes, for a cup of coffee and a bit of cake, what I would give for that.

A person I'd love to have coffee with would have been Helen Keller. I've always found her to be very inspirational as a person to overcome so many obstacles in her life.

shag66 5 pts

My mom. She passed away just over a year ago while she was visiting me and helping me through my chemo treatments. She never got to see the outcome.

Before that for years I would to talk to her on the phone everyday and there are still times that I go to call her just to chat. That mainly happens when I am only partially awake and don't remember what happened. It is probably my favorite time of the day...waking up: both my parents are alive and well, I am cancer free and life is great...then I fully awaken and know the reality of life.

Anyway, I miss her and would love to have enough time for just one cup of coffee with her again.

Well since that isn't possible my live and more possible choice would be my friend Janice. We live in different states and don't get to see each other anymore. When the kids were all little and we lived next door to each other we would walk the kids to school and then settle in for a cup of coffee before our days started, I miss those days.

I'd love to get coffee with Rachel Maddow, my personal favorite news show host and commentator -- I love her insight into political and social issues, her amazing sense of humor, and her love of all things geek-related, so we'd surely have a terrific conversation about the state of the world and our mutual interests and philosophies. Thanks for the great contest!

I think I would have to pick Chelsea Clinton. She seems so down to earth and for the most part has stayed out of the public eye. I would love to hear about her time in the white house. She was raised by 2 very public people and I just wonder what kind of toll that took on her or what she was thinking when the scandal about her dad came out. I think that she has heard and seen a lot thru her years and it would be interesting to hear the stories she could tell-both good and bad.

If I could have coffee with anybody I wanted to. It would be my brother who passed away when he was 4 back in 1988. He would be 25 now, I miss him so dearly even though I know he is here with me on a daily basis it still hurts. I would love for him to meet his niece and his brother in law.

I would love to have coffee with Beth Moore - Living Proof Ministries...like me she loves her some coffee...she is one of the most sprit filled, God loving women I know. Her Bible studies are totally wonderful. If you have ever had the good fortune to be in one, well, then you've been blessed.
To be able to meet her one on one and share a cup of coffee would surely be an event I would never forget....
