Spring Fashion & Beauty // Pretty Pastels

We've officially entered the season of pastels. This trend has made it's way into the makeup, nails, clothing, shoes and jewelry lines of spring. There is something about these beautiful shades that feels uber feminine and lady like and the beautiful thing is that this trend looks lovely on all skin tones. Without further ado, here are a few of the lovely muted toned items that have caught my eye.

I must be honest I am not sure if the lipstick and eye shadow are really for me, but I do love how they look on others. I tend to lean more towards the classic red lip and this is a bit out of my comfort zone. If you follow the link above or google the shade, you can see a handful of pictures with the lipstick actually on. It really is lovely. As for the eye shadows, they aren't as saturated with color but rather light and shimmery. I think they are gorgeous, I just tend to wear more matte shades on my lids. Aside from those two products, I would totally rock everything else. I love each of the clothing items, the pastel trend is used in a number of ways, that's why I chose to share a few different kinds of pieces. I am a major fan or Toms Shoes, they are ridiculously comfy, super cute and they give back to those in need. It's nice to know that when you buy a pair of shoes someone else, who may not have any, is getting a pair as well. Lastly the jewelry and nails, there are sooo many gorgeous necklaces on BaubleBar alone. If you don't like the big bib that I've chosen, but you want to rock a pastel piece, I am sure there is an option out there for you. What's nice about pastel jewelry and nail polish is that you can wear your basic wardrobe pieces you already have, but jazz them up with just a couple pieces of jewelry and a nice manicure. If you aren't looking to over haul your entire wardrobe, this may be a fun way for you to play with pastels.

How do you feel about the pastel trend? Is it something you are thinking about rocking this spring?
