Stacey Ferguson is a Senior Attorney in the FTC’s Division of Advertising Practices, where her workload focuses primarily on advertising issues related to the Internet and high-tech goods and services, such as spyware and adware, peer-to-peer file sharing, digital rights management, and word-of-mouth marketing online. She assisted in coordinating the Commission’s town halls on mobile marketing and digital rights management. She currently serves on the Interactive Technologies Task Force, the Federal-State Law Enforcement Spyware Task Force and the Diversity Council in the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection as well as on the agency-wide Social Media task Force. Prior to joining the FTC, Ms. Ferguson practiced law at Proskauer Rose LLP, where she worked in the areas of privacy and intellectual property law.
