Star Power

This is day five of BlogShortsa short-story writing challenge. Ten days, ten short stories, 110 words.  This year, we're writing to the theme: The Dog Days of Summer. The fur is flying now. -BD

The small print was explicit:

- artisan well water from the hinterland of the Faroe Islands

- no gluten-free, low-fat, macro-biotic, sodium-free, flavor-enhanced chow; fresh meat only and hand-fed by Daphne

- no cats on the set, unless they are on the menu for the day

- actors keep to a minimum distance; for scenes requiring touching, don't muss the coif

- stand-ins never used for close-up camera work

- advance promotion of the movie only if scheduled between rolfing massage sessions

- doggie jokes that reference "style" or "poop" are banned from the set

- all legs must be available for humping

Harvey Weinstein didn't have a choice. Without Eddie, "Fraser, The Movie" would go straight to DVD.

Did you not read the part about stand-ins? Are you blind? Did you think I'd just let this one slide?
