Star Wars Episode VII Cast Announced
By MomTattles on April 29, 2014
Unless you're living in a galaxy far, far away (or you were busy dealing with tantrums, potty training messes, or spouse nonsense) you've probably heard the major announcement for Star Wars Episode VII.
The cast has been announced (and in some cases confirmed). If you were only hoping to see Benedict Cumberbatch's name on the list, you can stop reading. He is not a member of the cast. <dang it>
John Boyega: You'll see him in the upcoming season of 24 as Chris Tanner.
Daisy Ridley: The newcomer of the group.
Adam Driver: The notable fellow on HBO's Girls.
Oscar Isaac: He plays the title character in Inside Llewyn Davis.
Andy Serkis: All of us nerds have all been impersonating his portrayal of Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films.
Domhnall Gleeson: He stole my heart in About Time as the love of Rachel McAdams' life, Tim.
Max von Sydow: You have to look at his impressive credits on IMDB. He has been in a little bit of everything in his long career.
And returning from the original cast:
Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewie), and Kenny Baker (R2-D2).
I suspect this will be one of the biggest pieces of information we will get from the secretive director of Episode VII, J. J. Abrams, and plot details will be very tight lipped. Let the speculation continue...
What do you think of who is and isn't included in the cast?
