Here at BlogHer, we're awfully excited about Ree Drummond's Pioneer Woman Food Network show, which premieres Saturday, August 27, at 11:30 am ET/10:30 am CT. But starting tomorrow, you can get a sneak peek at the show based on Ree's The Pioneer Woman blog, best-selling cookbook and memoir.

The Pioneer Woman cooks on TV

The sneak preview footage will be available starting at 9 am ET tomorrow on the show's page. The show will feature Ree's recipes and ideas for entertaining at home, but because it is actually being filmed at her ranch, will also give viewers a glimpse into her Oklahoma life.

Earlier this year, BlogHer's Julie Ross Godar interviewed Ree to find out more about the show and what it'll entail.

Are you planning to check out the show when it airs? What are you most looking forward to about it?

Genie blogs about gardening and food at The Inadvertent Gardener, and tells very short tales at 100 Proof Stories. She is also the Food Section Editor for BlogHer.

I'll definitely be watching. Love me some Ree. She's the epitome of down-to-earth.

I am all set to tape her shows. Unless something happens to my TV or cable box, I am covered to watch every episode. Oh-yeah...!

Is it safe to say I am just a wee-bit jealous of her. (Smile!)

I just set my Tivo to record it. I wish her the very best and, like the others, find her to be an inspiration.

We probably won't get her show on the Food Network Canada for awhile (if at all... we don't get all the same shows) but I'm pleased to see them bringing in a new show that's NOT a competition show.

sassymonkey I hear that! I am so tired of the competitions...and all the crying that goes with losing. I don't think I could set myself up for that kind of embarrassment. I'll cry at my own flops in the kitchen. LOL!

I'm planning on watching! As a blogger, it's difficult not to be inspired by Ree.

I'm so excited! This is the woman that inspired me to create my own food blog. If only I home schooled 4 children, had a hunky cowboy for a husband (wait a darn minute. mine's purty cute too), took amazing photos, AND cooked lovely food. Sigh.

What an inspiring woman!

I hear a movie is in the works, starring Reese Witherspoon as Ree.
