Big, bold, bright statement necklaces are the perfect accessory really. Dress up tee shirts with them, wear one with a business emsemble for a pop, dress up your basics, and of course, cocktail parties!
Holiday season is the perfect time for a little or a lot of bling so here are five classic examples of The Statement Necklace, from high to low.
I think the collar version is the latest incarnation. This one is from Anthropologie and comes in at $58.00, which isn't too terribly expensive. The trick is the top to wear it with. Try it with a crew neck.
This version is from Zara, and is $29.90.
Here's a big shiny gold chain, from Overstock, which I thought would be the low.
Turns out, at $638.00, it is not.
Try this one from Banana Republic at $58.50. It's shinier too.
I do believe this was the one that started it all...from JCrew, at $150 it's not too bad.
But look at this!
Ten dollars from Etsy!
Here's a beauty from Nieman Marcus for $870. Too rich for your blood?
Here's the same scheme for $58.00 from Anthro!
A delicate arrow. From Anthropologie? $38.00.
From Anthro's sister, Urban Outfitters?
Any of these beautiful statements is sure to brighten your holiday.
