Submit a video to 10Questions: ask the candidates to earn your vote!

Here's the latest news from our partner 10Questions.com, a great project that seeks to involve millions of voters in prioritizing the questions they want answered, and moving politicians away from sound-bites to in-depth discussion of issues. The videos are good, and I encourage you to watch them, vote, and submit your own!

  • America Online (uncutvideo.aol.com ) and TeacherTube are now each cosponsors of 10Questions, and people can use their video platforms to post questions to us—though they still have to remember to tag videos "10Questions."
  • A total of 77,650 votes have been cast, from 23,586 voters.

  • Popular question topics range from issues relating to fixing the political system ("Is our voting system broken?" from the activist group Why Tuesday? and "Two party system bad?) and issues like the "income-housing gap," healthcare reform, solar energy, impeachment, and paying down the national debt.

    • There are only 8 days left to submit your video for round one. I'm doing mine this weekend- I'm going to ask a Voter Mainfesto question about Iraq. Frankly, things like this make me nervous, but I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and speak up. I hope you'll join me.

    Got myself a web cam...

    I got myself a web cam (and figured out how to use it)... I'll be adding a question hopefully today or tomorrow. My daughter is going to have one too.
