My four and two year old nieces are visiting, and every morning we have a Nick Jr. marathon. As I get settled with my laptop for the day, I have half an ear to the TV, and was really happy to see the dismantling of stereotypes through children's TV. (leave Hannah Montana and High School Musical out of this for the moment). Dora being as outdoorsy and active as her cousin Diego, and my favorite, the Sheriff in the Backyardigans is a woman! Amazing. Hopefully interaction with society won't screw these kids up again.
