Today I am bragging about the company that my hubby works for!
I am sure most of you are aware that Sunday is “Super Bowl Sunday” so unless you are living under a rock, have been on another planet or off the grid, this Sunday many of you will enjoy chicken wings, pizza, beer and many other assorted snacks and beverages all while watching the big game. Or maybe you will be socializing while the game is on just waiting for the next commercial.
Oh come on and admit it, we all love to watch those commercials!
So while you are sipping your favorite beverage, munching on chips and salsa, chili, chicken strips or pizza take a few minutes to watch the instant replays in slo mo.
The camera’s that will be digitally recording the plays are manufactured by the company that my hubby works for, NAC Image Technology who worked with Ikegami to develop this product. Although he was not responsible for this particular sale it will still be exciting to see the slo mo replay shots from the NAC cameras.
My husband and I both worked for the Motion Analysis division of Eastman Kodak when the first high speed slow motion video cameras were introduced, the products were cutting edge at 1,000 frames per second. We thought that was fast. Today, NAC high speed cameras can record up to 1 million frames per second.
So on Super Bowl Sunday take a few minutes to watch the slo mo replay shots and ask your friends and family if they know how those slow mo shots are recorded.
Just a little boasting…… Let me know what you think about the slo mo images.
And if you had a camera that would record at 1 million frames per second what would you use it for?

Cheers!
