As I resolved in my earlier post, I am fully, totally and completely working on finding Bindi the Rescue Pup a good, HAPPY, new home. I am SO thankful to have help with this endeavor. With Jan's help (a wonderful woman at PetAdoptionSA.com) Bindi is now listed online on Pet Adoption SA's site and on Petfinder.com site as well! Yay! And in an attempt to get the word out more, I am putting up an ad here as well. :)
Bindi is a rescue pup, that I took in, to keep from being put down. She came into our lives one day at Maverick Library almost 2 years ago (she’s now about 2 ½ years old). Bindi is about 22 pounds (25 lbs tops), and is 18” inches tall to her back (standing) and 21” high to her head (while sitting). She’s a small dog, mixed breed - the guesses from the vet are: Chihuahua / Miniature Pinscher / German Shepherd / ??? There is absolutely NO fee for adopting Bindi! Just the promise of a good home.
Bindi is well cared for and sees the vet regularly. She’s been spayed, chipped, and she’s on Sentinel monthly. She’s fully housetrained, doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t and doesn’t bite. She slept in a crate for about the 1st year, now she just sleeps on a pillow at the end of the bed. She’s an inside doggie, and very loving and sweet. She is not allowed on furniture. From her demeanor, I believe she’d been either badly abused as a wee pup, or she’s just a meek personality. Either way, she’s very sweet, gentle and kind. She’s great with kids (I have 3 under 10), and other dogs (we have 1 other, border collie mix). She seems to like our cats very much! She wants to play with them and chase them, however, if you call her name and tell her to lay down, she won’t tear around after them.
Any help - word of mouth, link backs, forwards, emails, posts - would be greatly appreciated in finding Bindi a happy home! In addition, there is absolutely NO fee for adopting Bindi!
