Synchronicity...Mondays Solved!

Mondays around my house begin in a rushed panic. Alarm clocks blaring, family forehead collisions, makeup mishaps that require more than a cotton swab to erase, that's Monday.

Today, the curse has been broken. This morning begins in synchronicity!

That's not to say that we all synchronized our watches in preparation for a heist. It's more like I've synchronized my personal rhythm with that of the Universe. Whoah, a little too heavy for a Monday. Allow me to rephrase.

Synchronicity is basically the higher power's way of saying, "Great job! Keep going this way."

Label it coincidence if you must but, when "coincidence" happens multiple times a day for years in a row, you have to call it by another name.

This is my Monday before 9am. This is synchronicity for me:

I wanted to work alone...my assistant, Jay, is happy to return home as he was handed a business card this morning by a stranger in a convenience store who it turns out may be his first client! Doesn't look like he'll be "assisting" much longer and I couldn't be happier for him. (Funny that my 5:30am "OFFICE CLOSED" texts never reached him. I should have known better than to question the Grand Design.)

I didn't really want to have a meeting at 10:30 am...the other party called this morning asking to reschedule for later in the afternoon.

I had nothing to wear today; nothing fit yesterday...miraculously, I must have shrunk 3 sizes overnight and I am feeling especially foxy!

I had no idea how my production company would fund the ads for our show...a call around midnight cleared that up. We're going to be featured in fashion week!

OMG, I'm going to be on TV! How am I going to pull this one off? Ahahahhh. I almost got suckered by my own trick question. I don't have to pull anything off. It'll work out a million times better without my meddling.

By now, I've learned that getting lost in the details will only throw me off course. My job is to keep my eyes open, wear a great big smile, be cool, and let the powers-that-be do what they do best. (Hmmm, I'll probably book a hair appointment though, but that's it. I promise.)

There's nothing better than starting the day with a great big pat on the back from the Universe.

Share the love, ladies!

;) Lady X
