Tackling the Tough Questions

I tackled the question of happiness and the family today on my blog post. I mentioned how much of our "happiness" might not step from family at all.

Over the years I've learned that what makes me happy would bore someone else to tears or vice versa. Subjective definitions about emotional triggers and the emotions themselves can never do more than stir debate. There are no definitive answers, not even in the scientific community.

If you think I'm kidding, try to get a consensus vote on any subject within a group of one hundred scientists. Not even they can be unanimous on any given theorum.

So, there you are, hanging out to dry on your very own clothesline, swinging in the breeze, babbling about your own definitions, your own emotions, and how they relate to others.

Yep, I did it. I admit it. Now I can continue to aspire toward that one spark of the purest joy ever experienced. The journey toward that Nirvana may be sprinkled with obstacles and lesser emotions, but the hunt should prove interesting.

Hope all are having a terrific time on this challenge. It's going to affect everyone in some way, whether they want to acknowledge it or not. Tears, laughter, new information, and collective memories will all take part in the process.

Ain't life grand!
