Thanks to everyone who came out to the 'Taking Your Blog To The Next Level' advanced lab segment! I really felt like we had a great session and were able to address some common CSS questions and design issues. I hope everyone who attended felt the same.
If you missed it, you can check out some of the things we covered on a mini-site I threw together for our session located at blogher.squarespace.com.
I'll be adding tutorials and tips to the site based on feedback from attendees and readers. Be sure to subscribe to email notifications and we'll let you know when the site is updated!

Interesting stuff
I wasn't able to attend your session so I was very interested in seeing the material you posted. Since I didn't hear what you had to say, I'm wondering why you presented all your CSS rule suggestions as a class? Each example was
.element {some rule;}
Why the class?

Why the class?
Thanks Virginia, sorry you couldn't attend.
The examples were for discussing the syntax of the properties and values really, the selector was just for placement. I believe all of the examples on the site would work for ID elements as well, you would just swap the "." out for a "#"
Hope that clarifies.
Follow up
I added examples using the "#" for IDs as well. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
