Missing Him . . . . .

  Nibbles, my Shih Tzu puppy (he's eight years old, but he'll always be a puppy to me).I had to give him up for adoption when I moved. That's been over two years ago, and I still dearly miss him. The good news is that he couldn't have gone to a better family - the sister of my former roommate. She and her husband have two small children, a baby son and a four year old daughter. Little Chloe calls him "Mr. Nibbles," and lets everyone know in no uncertain terms that he is her own.Kinda how love is supposed to be, wouldn't you say?  ...more

How to Deal with Change

I saw a wonderful photo that depicts my thoughts on how to deal with change. It's a Chinese proverb exemplified by a comparison and contrast of the two approaches we will take when we are faced with change. Change is inevitable; I believe most of us will admit that. Nevertheless, what matters is what we do with that change.
