Music is a huge part of any traveling experience ,whether it be the CDs you listen to in the car or the songs you stream while laying on the beach. I am lucky enough to be going on my first ever tropical vacation next month, so I have been preparing every detail. I've loved putting music together that gets me into that beach holiday mindset.

After 13 years of catapulting unknowns into the bright lights of the music world the show will end after next season. I'm sad but not surprised. The only parts of the show I enjoyed were the auditions and Hollywood Week. After that, I no longer watched and didn't care who won. On the same note (no pun intended) I really like the judges now. Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. bring a lot to the table and give excellent advice and constructive criticism to the contestants. ...more
