For a while now I have been in awe of the roasted beet, ever since I tried the beets with house made ricotta cheese at The Bird & the Bread, a local restaurant in Birmingham, MI. My perfect summer vacation involves beaches. Ideally, a sandy Mediterranean beach with a little feet-in-the-water tavern serving fresh salads and grilled fish.I find that swordfish is a fantastic fish to grill. To me, warmer weather means making a LOT of sweet tea. It's my addiction. Seriously. I can't get enough of it. I love to add different ingredients to my tea, and this one is one of my favorite flavor combinations: lemon and rosemary sweet iced tea!
