I love pizza! Unfortunately, this mouthwatering pie that has become an American favorite is not the healthiest or most diet friendly meal. Asparagus is one of those seasonal crops that people love partly because prime asparagus time is such a short window every year. Right now my stores have inexpensive asparagus, and if you love this spring vegetable, you need to be using it while the flavor is at its best. Luckily, asparagus doesn't need a fussy treatment to be spectacular.
