Tango in Tulsa

This is one of my favorite paintings, maybe because I love the dance... There is a vibrant Tango Scene in Tulsa. Anyways it is on auction this week on ebay.. hate to let it go but willing to send it off to a good home.  Want to adopt it?   It started out after my husband's grandma Ruby died.  She was a ballroom dancer and we arrived 2 months after her funeral to collect what no one else wanted.  It included her dancing shoes.  I love the tango and had just been taking lessons and ended up putting her shoes in this still life....more

Going Up The Down Escalator

I'm excercising.  I'm doing it.  Every single day for at least 20 minutes.  It feels great.  Jillian's Shred is my main thing and I do it in the mornings and I can feel my legs are stronger and I can see improvement in my push ups.  I feel plain old healthier.  Over the weekend, I went skiing and walking.  Today I'll to to an hour of yoga.  Finally, I'm making things happen again.  I'm not running because of injuries, but I'm doing something every day.  That's the going up part....more
