I'm Over Winter

This Polar Vortex thing sucks.I’ve always been of the mind that I hate the cold, unless it comes with snow. Because snow is pretty.But now…I’m done with snow. I’m done with winter. I’m done with ice.And I’m very much done with that pit in my stomach that develops whenever I have to open each month’s heating bill.Last night we had a mixture of snow, freezing rain and ice dropped on us. Urban Exploration

I haven't posted in a few days because, well, frankly, I haven't been doing anything!  I have been working on repainting my kitchen, one cabinet door at a time.  I've gotten two doors done.  We are also working on picking out the tile for our master bathroom/craft room.  But this weekend was really busy with a family homecoming party and an adoption event for our last foster puppy....more
