I’m not not sure what the hell EA’s thinking but these are the strangest Sims Social videos I’ve ever seen.
Actually, they might be the strangest Sims videos EA has put out period and I mean even weirder than The Sims videos that came out where they made the people look all plastic and stuff.
OK. Never mind. Those commercials were pretty cool.
But these two videos? These guys are pretty cool. They’re pretty scary.
If you missed the Town Hall EA put on for The Sims 3 Pets, EA recorded the whole shebang and has made it available online.
The Town Hall covers the PC version, the console version as well as the 3DS version. Those planning on watching the video from beginning to end should probably get some popcorn and take a quick bathroom break; you’re looking at two hours worth of information. The PC information is the first up and starts at 19:00. Right before that is the official trailer you’ve seen a million times before that is 16-17 minutes of “hold music.” Hay Woohoo starts around: 1:16:and change.
Console information–they show The Sims 3 Pets on the 360 and feature the Kinect technology–comes after that and 3DS info is at the very end.
Even if you don’t play The Sims Social, you still have one very cool reason to thank the social game:
50% off the The Sims. Pick your platform and get the base game for $19.99 but you have to order the game via Origin and the deep discount ends October 6, 2011 at 11:59PM Pacific Time.
