This month, Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg created attention for cultivating leadership qualities in women through the #banbossy campaign, saying, "When a little boy asserts himself, he's called a leader. Yet when a little girl does the same, she risks being branded bossy."
Walking Dead fans, where you at?! We are one episode away from the end of Season 4 and so much has happened recently. The last episode "Us" brought together more of our main characters than we've seen in over a month and ties up their stories. We get to see Glenn and Abraham's group again. Will Glenn find Maggie? Will he end up following Abraham and Eugene to Washington? Daryl is seen again with Joe's group. Has he become a member of their rough boy pack? Has he given up looking for Beth? ...more
I grew up watching The Muppet Show, and we own the first two seasons of the original show on DVD. My daughter grew up on the real thing in the car on the portable DVD player during long roadies to Iowa, and we as a family love The Muppets' YouTube channel. We were so excited to see Muppets Most Wanted this weekend, but then we spent the entire car ride home dissecting why, exactly, this movie sucked. Here, I'll share....more

When I read the book I pictured just a regular chain linked fence with Dauntless standing guard with their guns, but it totally wasn't that!...more
Three men have asked for input in bringing the truly outrageous and badass Jem to the big screen. Jon Chu, Jason Blum and Scooter Braun don't want to steal your childhood, they say. They want to reinvent the 80s classic and cult favorite chick rock series for the digital age. They published an announcement this week soliciting input for casting and creative direction of the film, sort of like a Kickstarter for social media support and fan involvement instead of cash.
