My Caveman

We had decided we would go back the following Wednesday, last night, to register once and for all! Well, last night came around and we mutually decided that the registry could wait.  Read more >

Don't You Wish Your Girlfriend Was Just Like That Other Chick Across the Bar?

I recently read a blog here --  http://www.rockanddrool.com/ that was an open letter to husbands about looking at other women.  Which got that internal dialog going in me, or perhaps it was just voice hallucinations from my psychosis setting in.  Either way, whoever was in my head, it was pretty interesting.According to this blog, apparently I'm not the only woman to have experienced a lifetime of men commenting on other women to a woman supposedly important to them.  I have one question:Why?  Read more >

Manese vs. Womanese - Lost in Translation

How is it that two people who speak  a common language (English, French, Italian, Swahili, Afrikaans, whatever it is) can understand the syllables that comes together to make a sentence and yet, get lost in translating the real meaning of what is being said. This issue and a big one at that, is even worse on the love  path especially when dating! Apparently the problem is all down to men speaking manese, and women, womanese! It is really baffling and confusing but I guess the only way around it is for me to learn the art of translation!!  Read more >
