Team Crazy Cakes

We checked out all the books on adoption or foster care our library had when our daughter first came home.  Even though she was 9 and going into the 4th grade, she enjoyed reading storybooks together and the adoption/foster themes seemed to comfort her.  One of the books we read was "I Love You Like Crazy Cakes" by Rose Lewis.  This was about an adoption different from ours - an infant from China, but the phrase stuck.   My daughter and I tell each other, "I love you crazy cakes." often.   It seemed a fitting title for my blog -
