Tears at Work

Sometimes I hate being an emotional female!!!! Especially when I'm at work.

When I make a mistake, or get in 'trouble' at work - my first reaction is to CRY. WHY!!!!! In my mind I try to talk myself out of it, but it never works - the waterworks always start!

I want to be a tough female in the workplace who takes these things in her stride, not be all wimpy and cry! I suppose it shows that I care, and that I really dont like making mistake, but it's very annoying!

If anyone has ANY tips on how you can change this, please let me know!

(And yes, I am writing about this topic because I just cried at work. Lol)

I have a trick- look-up at the ceiling, take a deep breath for a few seconds, and exhale as you bring your head back down to face level. It works like a charm ;)

I'll give it a go!!! However i am thinking extreme measures may be needed - like an operation to close my tear ducts over?! lol

singleaussiegirl LOL! I hope not! If the water works are about to really hit the floor - the best thing to do is excuse yourself to refresh and go directly to the ladies room.

Have you ever cried at work? Maybe it's also related to the industry i work in because it is so high pressured and emotional! (Transport industry)
