Jimmy Fallon's Tebowie Predicts Doom for Tebow and Broncos

It looks like Tebow mania has run its course. At least for this football season. No amount of faith could help the most talked about quarterback in America pull off another miraculous comeback.
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots steamrolled Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos 45-10 effectively burying the NFL’s feel-good story of the year. As long as Tebow is playing, however, the intermingling of religion and football will continue.
Despite the crushing defeat, the CBS broadcast brought in big-time ratings. The appealing matchup of Tebow against Brady and the three-time champion Patriots resulted in an average overnight rating/share of 20.6/34, making it the highest-rated NFL divisional round game in primetime on any network in 11 years.
The anti-abortion group Focus on Family took advantage of the massive viewership (as they did during the 2010 Superbowl) to unveil a new, 30-second spot featuring children reciting John 3:16. Although Tebow was not specifically featured, he is the inspiration. Last weekend, the Denver quarterback threw 316 yards during the playoff win against the Steelers and set an NFL record with an average of 31.6 yards. He's also known for wearing eye black with 3:16 inscribed during his college football days.
We haven't seen the last of Tebow however. He's a cultural phenom found on every media platform. Adage claims Tim Tebow Is a Social-Media God
Twitter and Facebook and other parts of the social web can't seem to shut up about Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow -- for lots of reasons, including his astonishing performance on the field lately, his ostentatious religiosity (which of course inspired the whole Tebowing meme), his potential status as the sports-endorsement world's next $10 million man, his shirtless Jockey underwear ad, and on and on.
Prior to Saturday's game, Jimmy Fallon paid tribute to the Denver QB during a late-night skit on NBC. The host of "Late Night" brought Tebow and David Bowie together as "Tebowie" and the video below might help explain the crushing Broncos defeat. Or not.
