Thank you everyone!
Whether you attended BlogHer's fourth annual conference this weekend in person, on BlogHer.com or in Second Life, we cannot thank you enough for the conversations you started and the contributions you made. What an incredible collection of voices -- we've taken a quick trip through Flickr, Twitter and YouTube, and we're excited to see the BlogHer '08 extended archive is beginning to take shape.
If you're interested in reading and/or adding to our BlogHer.com archive of this event, please tune in to this post where we linke live-blogs from each of the BlogHer '08 sessions. If you created your own live-blog of a session, we'd love it if you could link your post in the comments! (Or if you just want other folks to know you were there, please add your blog to the BlogHer Buzz widget.)
We also want to take a moment to bow to, thank and express our belief that these three groups deserve 1,000 years of good karma for the incredible work they did to support YOUR work and experience this weekend:
Without these folks, nothing would be possible.
As always, we'll be back to you soon with a post-conference survey for your feedback and ideas so that we can continue to evolve the conference to meet this community's needs next year. So please watch your email in-boxes and thank you in advance for taking the time to share your experiences and thoughts. We love it!
And now for a nap...
Best,
Elisa, Jory and Lisa

Any Chat Sessions?
Sure would like to see those, if they're happening.
Nerd's Eye View
Unfortunately
I haven't seen any chats scheduled. If I can recharge, I'll try and drop a chat box into a post and update now and then. I seem to have killed my battery already, and the opening keynote hasn't even started.
I'll do better, I swear it.

Live blog links
Will the links be upated after each session, or during?
Visit my blogs at ThreeSeven (all that's irrelevant and amusing) and
ecochick (all that's green, cool and Canadian).
That's my job... and yes
I'll be updating that list and making each clickable as the livebloggers work.
There may be moments when I'm slow, it depends on my movement here at the conference and the speed with which the livebloggers update.
Working on it now...

It sucks!!
To be a woman of color who actually lives in San Francisco, but can't afford to attend BlogHer.
I guess it's a conference for a certain type of blogger. Pity.
HMMMMMMMMM....
What's being a woman of color have to do with it? Sheesh! I'm here, visiting your city and attending the conference and LOVING EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF IT! All the bloggers I've met here thus far have one thing in common...THEY ARE ALL FABULOUS!
www.MonicaMingo.com SMOOCHES BEAUTIFUL WOMEN!

Maybe buzzgirl mentioned her disappointment of not being able to come because she wanted to meet other bloggers like you!
Sorry you couldn't make it
I go to a lot of conferences for work and they are all $1,000+. I'm loving that BlogHer conf is only $350 or so.
Sorry you couldn't make it, that is a bummer. Check out the podcasts and live blogs though. Maybe we will see you next year? Hope you can make it.
I'm a woman of color...
And I'm here - I don't see what that has to do with anything but...
I've found it much more expensive to eat/see things in your city to attend the conference!

Women of color
Dear Pity,
I am so sorry you couldn't attend the conference. I was part of a panel, Blogging with a Global Perspective, where Adrianne George participated. The name of her blog is Black Women in Europe. Here is a link of her blog: http://blog.blackwomenineurope.com/ Hopefully next year we will have your presence!

Hi Claudia! It was great
Hi Claudia! It was great meeting you and being on a panel with you at BlogHer. What a great experience!
I Wish I Could Have Tugged Your Coat
Beforehand
There are a number of scholarships, volunteer and other ways to attend BlogHer. It isn't always about cash money.
What I do want to ask of you is please fill out your profile. This is something that was mentioned in the People of Color session.
Everybody is trying to find everyone else. PR people, people looking for a certain type of blog or someone to get a quote or question answered.
I wanted to check out what kind of blog you had and I went to your member section. Bupkis. Nada. I have no way of seeking you out.
So (everyone) please fill your profile so that next year folks can find you and give you the 411 on attending.

Thanks for sharing the
Thanks for sharing the information that there are scholarships available to attend BlogHer. Where can bloggers find that information? I'm glad I had the chance to meet you at this year's conference.
what has your colour got to do with not
affording BlogHer?
Are you implying that a "certain type of blogger" are all rich?
Lots of people of ALL colours have money issues...lots of women SCRAMBLED to see if they could afford to attend...MANY MANY OTHERS COULD NOT.
Also for all that attended..as a NON American...and a person who lives in a multicultural city and nation...I find the whole black vs white thing that still prevails to be quite shocking.

Hi buzzgirl. I noticed
Hi buzzgirl. I noticed that the BlogHer conference offered a lot of flexibility in being able to attend all or certain chunks of the conference. If that still left attending out of your financial reach I'm sorry to hear that.
There is a women's conference I want to attend next month and I've been offered a partial scholarship but I think having to buy a plane ticket and book a hotel room will still keep it out of my reach.
It's disappointing but encourages me to start saving now for next year!
what about twitter?
any good tweetcircles set up?

It's great here..... for sure. THere are also a lot of great "wrap ups" I've found.
I wrote one about the 2 sessions for women's entrepreneurs.
Britt wrote one about the BOF Social and Green meet-up.
SUperJive is keeping tracks of the comings and goings and wearings of everyone. Which makes me think that I ought to pay more attention to what I wear speaking ont he Positive Posting panel....
Blogging about blogging - how deconstructed post-modern of us. :)

thanks from Intuit
Thank you so much for an amazing conference! All of us from Intuit who attended had an amazing experience. We met fabulous women (and men) who are passionate about positively impacting the world around them. And, big thanks to the BlogHer team, especially Kristy and Heather, for making it very easy for us to participate. All the best, Kira, Sharna, Marty, Gretchen and Camille

What a fantastic conference!
The highlight of the conference for me was meeting all of you fabulous women! And the exquisite readings. What a treat to hear the authors in their own voice. I learned a ton, and the parties were fun. Except when my fishnets kept falling down...
Thank you Elisa, Jory & Lisa! You rock! And yeah to those hardworking volunteers who were so lovely and helpful!
