Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone-and I don't have any regrets. I did the family thing for a little bit. I saw some people that I've never met before and said hello to them. Then we all ate as a family-it was a nice spread. I had a little of the foods that I liked. Then we went to other relatives houses where I nibbled a little as well. They brought back the sweet potato treat-that was the best of all! Through it all I managed to keep it under control so I wouldn't feel bad today. No pulling at my clothes as a result-and I was stll able to mingle without obssessing over things. I got tired towards the end-but thankfully I wasn't the only one . We said our goodbyes and headed home. That, was the best holiday I've lived through. Now I have to make it through Christmas and New Year's. It's a good thing I don't drink-that would throw a monkey wrench in my plans to start things out right!
