Did you know that the anal sacs of female beavers sometimes flavour your food? What about all of those shiny candies coated in an insect excretion? My Whole Food Life has a roundup of seven ingredients which are found in all sorts of food products on the market which may make you feel a little queasy once you realize what you're putting in your mouth.
Forget the fact that processed foods are laden with too much salt, sugar and fat. Something worse is happening. More and more additives are showing up in processed foods these days. Some of them go under hard to pronounce names. I am here to point out some of the most disgusting.
I have to admit that I've always been wary of the term "natural flavour" since... you know, that's fairly vague. But I had no clue about the duck feathers being used in bread. (Three cheers for my bread being L-cysteine-free.) Read her whole list to find out about these seven ingredients.
