They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa

Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees and begged you not to
leave because I'd go berserk?? Well...
You left me anyhow and then the days got worse and worse and now you see
I've gone completely out of my mind.. And..
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

You thought it was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed when I had said
that loosing you would make me flip my lid.. RIGHT???
I know you laughed, I heard you laugh, you laughed you laughed and
laughed and then you left, but now you know I'm utterly mad... And..
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa,
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the happy home. With trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!

I cooked your food, I cleaned your house, and this is how you pay me back
for all my kind unselfish loving deeds.. Huh??
Well you just wait, they'll find you yet and when they do they'll put you
in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!!! And...

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa.
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy
to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming
to take me away, ha-haaa!!!
To the happy home, with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haa!!!
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time...

To my family and friends-

I am back! I was having a very difficult time during my last post about 3 weeks ago. My family and friends were concerned for my well being and sent me away for awhile. I had the clothes my husband packed for me, which by the way was a pile of clothes meant for the GoodWill! I had no makeup, no blow dryer, and was looking my best. I had dark circles that surrounded my blood shot eyes. The best part was the frickin freezing temperatures at my new destination! My husband who I adore, packed shorts and tanktops. He did pick all my favorite panties...the special ones you only wear once a month when your aunt visits. I was elated when the cruise directors put them on a table for everyone to see. The director seemed to take his time counting and sorting them as if I could hide contraband in a g-string. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I was one hot mess when I was showed my deluxe sweet that I shared with 3 of my sisters. I was not given an itinerary, and was told to go to bed and rest up for the long week ahead of me. A F$&@ing week? OMG!! ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz......

My genetic background became a blessing in disguise. I am 50% Finnish, 25% African American, and British. My hair looked like a blonde, puffy Brillo pad! My long lost family teased me every second they got! My sisters and brothers gave me strength through prayer and love only a true family could. My mother.....who I love more than words went to Old Navy and Chicos, gathered up eleventeen magazines and gum for my cruise. Who knew gum was illegal on vacation? Whatever... Anywho..these items were not necessities, but were welcomed by all!

Never..ever..ever question your faith in God or yourself for that matter. I was beginning to question my faith and myself. I begged my husband and two of my sisters to not leave me there. I waved goodbye with tear filled eyes and snot all over my face. What I thought at the time was my worst nightmare, turned out to be the best week of my life. That week..... I will never...ever...forget. I will never...ever..question my faith again! I met sisters I never knew I had, a pastor, and a brother that I intend to keep close to me until the day I die.

The following is an excerpt from one of the websites I read daily.

http://cohdailyprayer2012.wordpress.com

"Simply invite the Holy Spirit into your decision making process today. You may want to use the breath prayer, “Come, Holy Spirit…give me your power”, several times until you are in a place where you feel open to the Holy Spirit showing up. Allow that presence to inform the ways that you give your resources today so that you can be a witness of the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God."

Sincerely,
