1. Eligibility:
The BlogHer "Time Traveler's Wife" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is only open to legal residents of and who are physically located in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and all overseas military installations) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of BlogHer, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., and each of their respective partners, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, successors, assigns, distributors and other prize suppliers (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities") and each of their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household (whether legally related or not) of each are not eligible to enter or win. For the purpose of this Sweepstakes, family members are defined as spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren. Void where prohibited by law. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these "Official Rules" and the decisions of Sponsor, including the interpretation of these Official Rules, which will be final and binding in all respects.

2. Sweepstakes Period:
Sweepstakes begins on or about 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time ("PST") on July 27, 2009 and all online entries must be received no later than on 9:00 a.m. PST on August 17, 2009 and all mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 17, 2009 and received no later than August 24, 2009 ("Sweepstakes Period").

3. Entry:
Eligible entrants may enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period one (1) of two (2) ways set forth below provided that there is a limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of entry method:
(i) Online Entries: To enter the Sweepstakes online, eligible entrants should simply login or first register at http://www.blogher.com/user/register (the "Sweepstakes Site"), then visit the Sweepstakes web page on the Sweepstakes Site at http://www.blogher.com/time-travlelers-wife-sweepstakes and leave a comment sharing how you think love is timeless. Online entries must be placed in the comments section of this page, or a URL link to your entry on your own blog must be posted to the comments section of this page, to qualify. Online entries must be written and posted no later than 11:59 pm PST on August 17, 2009 to be eligible. Online entries must comply with BlogHer Editorial Standards available at http://www.blogher.com/what-are-your-community-guidelines. By posting your comment on the posting board, your submission of your comment confirms your acceptance to these Official Rules.
(ii) Mail-In Entries: To enter for a chance to win the Sweepstakes without leaving a comment on the Sweepstakes Site, eligible entrants should mail a 3x5 card in a stamped envelope with your first and last name, postal address (no P.O. Boxes), daytime phone number (including area code), date of birth and e-mail address (all legibly hand printed) to: BlogHer, Attn: The BlogHer "Time Traveler's Wife" Sweepstakes Entry, 805 Veterans Blvd., Suite 305, Redwood City, CA 94063. Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than August 17, 2009 and must be received by Sponsor no later than August 25, 2009. To protect your privacy, we recommend that you send the 3x5 postcard to Sponsor in an envelope. Sponsor will not use personal information obtained through your mail-in entry, except in connection with this Sweepstakes.
Only one (1) entry per person regardless of the method of entry. All eligible individuals who submit an entry during the Sweepstakes Period as described in this Section are considered entrants in this Sweepstakes, but only if Sponsor actually receives such entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Subsequent attempts made by the same individual to submit multiple entries by using multiple e-mail addresses or otherwise may be disqualified. Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, programmed, robotic or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, false, lost, late or misdirected, deceptive or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion and the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any such issues. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the BlogHer account associated with the entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. All materials submitted (including the blog comments) become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Sponsor's satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible. The Sweepstakes Site's database clock will be the official time keeper for this Sweepstakes. Entries submitted by entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void.

4. Winner Selection:
The potential winner will be selected through a random drawing on or about August 31, 2009 from all eligible entries. The potential winner will be contacted using the e-mail address provided in their BlogHer account or e-mail address provided in the mail-in 3x5 card entry. Sponsor is not responsible for false or incorrectly entered contact information. Please check your BlogHer profile to ensure we have your current, correct e-mail address. The potential winner will be contacted within approximately ten (10) business days of the winner selection date. The potential winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) may be required to submit an Affidavit of Eligibility / Release of Liability / Prize Acceptance Form (collectively, the "Affidavit") within ten (10) business days of attempted notification. If applicable, a Prize won by a minor (the age of majority is eighteen (18) in most states but is nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska and twenty-one (21) in Mississippi) may be awarded in the name of the minor's parent/legal guardian, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion. If the Prize or Affidavit is returned to Sponsor as undeliverable, is lost, rejected or faulty or if Sponsor does not receive a response from any potential winner within ten (10) business days of attempted notification, such winner may be disqualified and the Prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner. Non-compliance may result in disqualification and award of the Prize to an alternate winner. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the Prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s). Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant's sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances.

5. Odds:
Odds of winning depend on the total of number of eligible entries received.

6. Prize:
One (1) prize winner to receive a $1,000 Visa gift card (the "Prize") to be used where Visa cards are accepted. The total approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Prize awarded in this Sweepstakes is One Thousand Dollars ($1,000).
Sponsor will not replace a lost or stolen Prize. The Prize is non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents or substitutions except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Prize details and availability are subject to change, and in the event that Sponsor is unable to provide the winner with the Prize, the Sponsor may elect, at the Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion, to provide winner with the approximate value of such item in cash or award an alternate prize of comparable or greater value. The Prize is awarded "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Prizing may be fulfilled by a third party.
Winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prize they receive. The ARV of the Prize is based on available information provided to Sponsor and the value of any Prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The winner may be required to provide Sponsor with a valid social security number before the Prize will be awarded for tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued in the name of winner, or if a minor in the jurisdiction in which s/he resides, in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, for the actual value of the Prize received. An unclaimed Prize will be forfeited.

7. Releases/Disclaimers/Indemnity/Termination:
By accepting the Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, winner consents that Sponsor may use the winner's name, photograph, likeness (including his/her voice), the winner's hometown and biographical information, statements concerning the Sweepstakes, or Sponsors' products without further compensation or notice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and merchandising, and grant all rights to edit or modify and to publish and copyright it.
By entering and participating, entrant agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause this Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with this Sweepstakes; (iv) entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes; and (v) entrant's acceptance, use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s)). Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of a Prize.
Neither the Sweepstakes Entities, nor service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures or any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access or use the Sweepstakes Site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible, incomplete damaged, mutilated or misdirected entries or entries not properly forwarded to Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any changes or unavailability of the Sweepstakes Site that may interfere with the Sweepstakes (including any limitations, any restrictions, or any conditions on Sponsor's ability to use the Service for the Sweepstakes as set forth herein that are not acceptable to Sponsor) or ability of entrant to timely enter, receive notices or communicate with Sponsor, in which case Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may terminate the Sweepstakes. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Sweepstakes or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right to void the entries at issue and conduct a random drawing to award the Prize using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK FROM ANY SUCH PERSON DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO THE SPONSOR TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Entries made by any other individual or entity and/or originating at any other Internet web site or e-mail address, including, but not limited to, commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites, may be declared invalid and as such ruled ineligible for this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Sweepstakes; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion. If the Sweepstakes is so terminated prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted on the Sweepstake Site via a Sponsor update and/or on any site where these Official Rules have been posted. Any damage made to the Sweepstakes Site will be the responsibility of the account holder of the BlogHer account submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any entries which are suspected of being fraudulent (including those using computer programs, macro, robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods of participation) may be disqualified, based on determinations made solely by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder/entrant fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.

8. Governing Law/Jurisdiction/Limitation of Remedies:
The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of California (as distinguished from the choice of law rules) and the United States of America applicable to contracts made and performed entirely in California and where the relevant contacts are with such state. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Except where prohibited, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, the Grand Prize awarded, or the determination of the winner shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will an entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-pocket expenses, and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

9. Dispute Resolution:
The parties agree that any disputes arising out of these Official Rules shall be submitted to final, binding arbitration conducted in Los Angeles County under the Arbitration Rules and Procedures of the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services Inc. ("JAMS") before a single, neutral arbitrator who is a former or retired California state or federal court judge with experience in entertainment matters who shall follow California law and the Federal Rules of Evidence and have no authority to award punitive damages. Either party may enforce a final arbitration award in any court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, including an award of costs, fees and expenses incurred in enforcing the award. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief (unless otherwise precluded by any other provision of these Official Rules) in the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County. Any dispute or portion thereof, or any claim for a particular form of relief (not otherwise precluded by any other provision of these Official Rules), that may not be arbitrated pursuant to applicable state or federal law may be heard only in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County.

10. Winner's List:
For names of winners, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: BlogHer Attn: The Time Traveler's Wife Sweepstakes Request, 805 Veterans Blvd, Suite 305, Redwood City, CA 94063 no later than November 5, 2009. VT residents may omit return postage.

11. Sponsor:

See BlogHer's Privacy Policy regarding use of all information entered and/or submitted for this Sweepstakes or otherwise collected by the Sweepstakes Site. Any information entrants provide to Sponsor may be used to communicate with entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes or on a Sweepstakes winner's list. Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. and its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of this Sweepstakes.

12. Miscellaneous:
The names of individuals, groups, companies, products and services mentioned herein, and any corresponding likenesses, logos and images thereof reproduced herein, have been used for identification purposes only and may be the copyrighted properties and trademarks of their respective owners. The mention of any individual, group or company, or the inclusion of a product or service as a Prize, does not imply any association with or endorsement by such individual, group or company or the manufacturer or distributor of such product or service and, except as otherwise indicated, no association or endorsement is intended or should be inferred. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the Affidavit will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Official Rules or the Affidavit is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. To the extent there is a conflict between these Official Rules and any terms of use or other agreement posted on the Sweepstakes Site, these Official Rules control.
