I believe that love can be timeless,even when your single because I know that as a single girl that I have never given up the hope that love exists. While it may be hard sometimes to believe that a man can actually love me just as I am, I keep the faith in God's plan that the man who will love me someday is walking down the street smiling. When you are single you are so consumed with thinking of humanly love as a possibility (or inevitability based upon one's ego) that you forget the cat who looks at you with endless love as you walk through the door after a hard day. The single girl may overlook her cat's love, but she also overlooks the love of the mother who calls her to check if she made the trip from work home safely. The single girl is so consumed with the love of that imaginary future man that she overlooks the love of a sister who attends an aerobic class to keep her company after the sister worked a long day at work too. Love is timeless because no matter what the classification, single, married, separated, divorced, widowed, engaged and many other characteristics, love is found in all measures all around you.

I think that love is timeless and everlasting, at least in my case.  My husband and I have been through many problems and separations while he was working away from home for years but we're still together and coming up on our 39th anniversary.  That's something to celebrate!

I can definitely identify with this book and movie.  My boyfriend is in the military.  We've been through a war zone, been separated by time zones and different states.  We've been apart more than we've been together.  But when we are in the same place, at the same time, we pick up right where we left off.  I think we always will.

When my husband and I first started talking about marriage, I imagined a man who would constantly strive to make me happy, bring me flowers on every birthday and anniversary, and woo me in marriage like he did when we courting.  I remember him telling me that there would be times when I would hate him, but that we would make it through the trials as a team, with our love making us strong.

Almost 10 years and 3 kids later, I can say honestly that we have had our fair share of trials.  There have been times I have felt like I hated him.  However, my love for him and the things he does for our family are timeless and begin to smother out the angry emotions I have for him at the time.

I know that we are a forever family and our love for one another is timeless!
