Today's WOD - OMG !

I've had one of those days.  It started when I locked my keys in my house.  I had to call a locksmith and it took him longer to write the receipt than it did for him to get into my house. And the receipt was for $80 - He was only there for 10 minutes !  I'm in the wrong job.

But I got to work on time (just !) so I didn't feel guilty leaving on time to make the gym.  The WOD (Workout of the Day) was changing when I arrived.  It's usually posted on the website during the day but they'd decided to change it.

The warm up was:

  • 20 Squats
  • 20 Push-ups (I do mine on a box)
  • 20 Lunges (I do half lunges)
  • 20 Pass-throughs

That was tough.  Then there was an 18 minute AMRAP (As Many Reps as Possible)

  • 5 Box Jumps (I stepped up and down)
  • 10 Push-ups (on the box)
  • 15 Squats

I finished 5 reps !

Then there was 18 minutes of rowing. I managed 2259 meters (7410 feet according to Siri)

My shins are so sore, surprisingly my back and shoulders are fine, so far.  I'm really pleased with what I've accomplished.
