Top 10 Favorite Avon Lipsticks

Hello My Lovelies!

I will admit it. I’m obsessed with lipstick. How many different cosmetic items can you change up in a day? If you think about it, when you put your eye shadow, blush and foundation on in the morning, you expect them to stick around all day, but when it comes to lipstick, that’s one makeup item that needs periodic touching up. Whenever it’s time to reapply, 9 out of 10 times, I’m changing it up with a different shade. That may sound weird to some, but that’s me and that’s how I roll.
By far, my favorite lipstick out on the market is from Avon. Avon continues to come up with different formulas and as quickly as a new formulation is born, several shades have been discontinued. I think that’s why most of my lipstick collection consists of lipsticks from Avon.
In my personal opinion, I find all Avon lipsticks are ultra-moisturizing. Of course they all transfer, but that is something that happens with 98% of the lipsticks out on the market unless they’re the type that stain your lips.
Here are my TOP 10 Avon Lipsticks for 2013.
All of the lipsticks retail for $8; however, there is always a sale going on during each campaign. I don’t believe I’ve ever paid more than $4 for one.
Totally Kissable Lipstick: 14 shades are available at this time.  Full-coverage conditioning color infused with fruit enzymes and a blend of natural oils for lips that are visibly fuller, softer and smoother (Avon).
Top to Bottom: Loving Lilac, Lovey Dovey Pink

Loving Lilac
Lovey Dovey Pink

Ultra Color Rich Lipstick: Apparently the Avon website is being a butt head and because they’re apparently not selling this particular lipstick during the current campaign, it won’t allow me to look at the item specifics and to see if the colors are still available. Really, how dumb is that?

Top to Bottom: Canela Necur, Sheer Light Peach, Wink, Twinkle Pink, Pout

    Canela Necar
Sheer Light Beige
Wink (looks darker swatched than on the lips)
Twinkle Pink

Beyond Color: 10 shades are available at this time.  Lip color with SPF15. This one is formulated with retinol, which minimizes the look of wrinkles for noticeably fuller lips (Avon).
There is no guarantee these colors are still available; however the last three I purchased this year:
Twig, Beige Shimmer, Cantaloupe
Beige Shimmer (I look like I just sucked on a lemon)

I really do believe the quality of Avon's lipsticks are amazing. Their formulation is always consistent, they're moisturizing and I've never had any decided to wander outside of my lip line by accident. The choices of colors are ever changing. The one thing I would like to say is while they are always coming up with new formulas and colors, they also have a nasty habit of discontinuing a lot. So, if you find a color you love and can't live without, take my advice and buy a few.
If you're not interested in contacting your local Avon Representative, I've attached links for each color over at
