Top Apps for the Tech-Savvy Toddler

1) Wee Alphas ($2.99 and SO worth it!)

An interactive alphabet storybook, your child must find each letter of the alphabet hidden in the animals and this activates fun animations and silly sounds. You can even trace letters once you've completed the alphabet.

2) Articulation Station! by Little Bee Speech (Free)

This app was actually designed by a Speech Language Pathologist to help your child pronounce and practice words and sentences using photo flashcards and stories at  initial, medial and final levels. You can record your child repeating the words and the app tracks your childs progress. My son loves learning new words from this app and I love that I can record it.

3) Animal Puzzles for Toddlers by Jorg Winterstein (Free)

I am a big fan of good old fashioned wooden puzzles but once my Sugar Tot figures out what goes where he's over it in 2.5 seconds, that why we love the digital version! There are tons of wooden puzzle apps-from farm animals to cars!

4) Sounds & Spellings by Imagineer Mobile (Free)

This fun, interactive learning book teaches kids how to spell the names of  animals by showing its picture and tapping each placeholder to reveal the letters. Plus they can listen to the sound the animal makes.

5) Monster Coloring Book by Playtend (Free)

Every kid loves to color! This coloring book lets you customize your own crazy monster by color, pattern and stickers. You can even save your little monster's art creations.
