Top Ten Women Not Invited on a Chick Trip

Studies have found that women-only gatherings like chick trips have a calming effect on women. However, I can tell you from personal experience that certain personality types can cause the pursuit of chick trip nirvana to be hampered. Below are the ten personality types that, when excessive, can minimize or block this calming effect.

Top Ten Women Not Invited on a Chick Trip

10. Andrea Angst - Loosen up Andrea, your not in chaotic Kansas anymore.
9. Boring Betty - Feel the energy women generate when together Betty.
8. Snobby Sue - Get over yourself Sue, high school was 25 years ago.
7. Carol Complainer - Yes, the waitress is slow and your bed is too soft, but that's not why we're here.
6. Gabriella Gossip - Here's a secret Gabby, grow up.
5. Selfish Sally - Generosity is the way to go on these trips Sally. You got the next round of martinis.
4. Late Lucy - Reset your watch fifteen minutes ahead Lucy.
3. Windbag Wendy - Take a breath Wendy, this is a time of give and take.
2. Dictator Diane - I know we have a tight itinerary Diane but I need my coffee first.
1. Bossy Barbara - I am on this trip to get away from my boss Barbara.

If you have transformed into one of these women at one time or another (and who hasn't), here are some tips to get back on that invite list.

1. Since chick trips are a time of fun and relaxation, do your best to avoid any words or actions that increase the group's stress level.
2. Remember that chick trips are also a time of open and honest conversations. So if you occasionally experience these negative feelings or behaviors, let the girls know your situation. They are a great source of strength and support.
3. The key is to live in the moment while on a chick trip and simply experience the joy and fulfillment of being amongst friends.
4. If you do find your negative feelings or actions to be excessive or extreme, consider consulting a doctor to improve your overall well being.
