Tribute to Bettie Page

 Denise.  I think you have hit the nail on the head. That is... the younger generation sees Betty as an icon, and a women who was in charge of her sexuality.  So, to them she is a Shero, more than she really was.  She was a real woman with many problems, and many happy moments.  I just hope she had some of those happy moments for herself.  But, regardless, she was and is an incredible icon of Feminist and Pop culture.  Your post below:

I'm also a Bettie Page fan and just finished writing a post about her on my blog (which was tricky because it's on a children's story site).  She was great.
