Trick-or-Treat: Time to Share Your Ghosts and Goblins!

It's time for ghost and goblins, princesses and fairies, vampires and Batman alike to take to the streets -- preferrably with reflective tape on the back of their costumes -- in hopes of receiving candy. Halloween is right around the corner, and we want to see what ghouls are lurking at your house!

Last year we hosted a call for Halloween costume pictures and made a delightful slideshow of your submissions. We're doing the same thing this year, because who doesn't love pictures of kiddos dressed up in costume? You don't? Well, take off your Grumpy Pants, throw on some Costume Pants and join in the fun yourself. That's right -- post pictures of your kiddos or yourself all decked out in this year's Halloween digs.

You have more than one kid? Submit more than one photo! You want to submit your kid's Charlie Brown ghost picture in addition to yourself dressed up as Woodstock? Go for it.

To add a photo below, click the "add link" button, fill in your blog or other URL, your name, and your e-mail. Then, on the next screen, you'll have the option to upload your photo. If you submit your photo here, BlogHer may include it in an upcoming slideshow!

If you don't have your Halloween pictures yet, come back after you've taken them and add them! In the meantime, feel free to talk about costume ideas, costume swaps and other Halloween-like goodness!

Thanks for sharing :) I've always loved the playfulness and youthful spirit of Halloween. It's exciting fun for children and adults alike to dress up and share in the fun for that day.

Is it just me, or has Halloween become a much bigger deal in the last few years? It use to be just taking the kids around the block, but last year we went to a neighborhood Halloween party for our kids and this year we are going to 2 kid parties and 2 adult parties - two on Saturday and two on Sunday! Lots of the houses on our street have already been decorated for weeks as well! With all the parties that we are going to, I'm sure that I will be able to submit some pictures. Happy Halloween!

As long as I still fit in my homemade Star Trek, TOS costume I'm wearing it.

FireDad and I are still debating costuming options. We also got an invite. Not sure what we're doing yet!

And for the fake husband. We just got an invite to a Halloween party and my flapper dress...well technically I can fit into it but it does not look quite so...flattering.
