Eclectic Recipes "Having a healthy family is very important to me, and I know the first step to our best health is with a good diet filled with lots of fruits and vegetables. However, I struggle just like everyone else, trying to eat enough fruits and vegetables, and most importantly, trying to get my family to eat enough." Click to read more.

Be Different, Act Normal "There are lots of tricks out there to get your kids to eat more fruits and veggies.  I am not opposed to any of them, but they just don't work well with my kids.  They are too smart for their own good." Click to read more.

My Columbian Recipes "Feeding your children healthy food can be a challenge, but really rewarding! I’m sure we can all agree that getting proper nutrients in every meal is ideal, but what do you do when your kids aren’t exactly eating their fruits and vegetables?" Click to read more.

Fluid Pudding "As you may (or may not) know, things tend to get a little quirky at The Pudding House at dinnertime. I’m the only vegetarian in the house, meaning more often than not I make a main dish that features some sort of meat for the rest of the family, and then I focus on the side dishes." Click to read more.

Jaime Cooks it Up "Fresh fruits and vegetables. That's what I'm talking about! We like treats around here, it's no secret. But having fresh fruits and veggies around the house at all times makes me feel a lot better about the nutrition of my kidlets. I offer fruit and veggies a lot...a real lot....and  am  finding my kids are developing a love for them. Few. What a relief." Click to read more.

Busy Mom "It's a big job keeping kids and families healthy. There's so many more temptations out there compared to when I was growing up, and kids have to learn to make healthy choices." Click to read more.

A Girl and a Boy "The best tip I have for keeping your family healthy is to feed them according to the guidelines you use for healthiest eater in the house. For us, that's our toddler. We all want the best for our kids, and if you're like me that means giving them food that's as healthy-good as it is yummy-good." Click to read more.

Joy Unexpected "Keeping my family healthy is important to me, especially considering my family's history with heart disease and diabetes. I always have explained to my children why it's important that they eat fruits and vegetables." Click to read more.

Big Mama  "Long before I became a parent, my friends with toddlers would always talk about how hard it was to get their kids to eat anything besides a hot dog or a chicken nugget. So I felt like I was prepared that food might be a battle. But, as it turns out, Caroline is all about her fruits and veggies. When we’re at the grocery store, I’ll ask her if she wants a donut to snack on and she’ll ask if she can have a carrot instead." Click to read more.

The Polka Dot Chair "Now I will tell you I am no expert when it comes to healthy families. We have candy in our house, my kids ate take out pizza for dinner last night, and I will admit to a personal love of macaroni and cheese (especially the home made kind).  However I can tell you some of the things that we do that work for us. Maybe they will work for you too? Maybe not... but here are some." Click to read more.

Picky Palate "Let’s face it, it’s tricky to keep the family healthy ALL the time.  We are constantly trying to stay on top of good health whether it’s running around outside, riding bikes or walking through Disneyland…often. There’s no secret, it’s a challenge, but we try to have fresh fruit and vegetables on hand so we can eat as much as possible. " Click to read more.

Suburban Turmoil "My 4 and 7-year-old children have gotten pretty good about eating fruits, mostly because I try to make fruit the only sweet option in the house. They love bananas, oranges, tangerines, clementines, grapes, raisins, apples and watermelon in particular, and I try to regularly rotate through all of those options." Click to read more.

I'm not a morning person so the best thing I can do is have nice cold orange juice in a tall glass. It's easy for someone who is still asleep and it manages to infuse some energy and rouse me to an semi-aware state.

I love early mornings in the spring and summer when the world is quiet and peaceful and the sun is just coming up. I love to sit outside on my back patio and listen to the silence with a cup of coffee. It puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
