don't brush right away
It's important not to brush your teeth right after having something acidic like lemon, as the acid makes the teeth porous and then brushing with abrasive toothpaste erodes the enamel further and makes it worse.
Some tips: drink the lemon water through a straw to limit contact with teeth, drink plain water throughout the day to help wash the acid away and wait at least an hour to brush after having something acidic.
