Did you know that increasing your metabolism can help you lose weight?

So. How can you increase your metabolism?

An easy way is to add lemon to your water. One lemon a day can improve your digestion, increase your metabolism, and help you lose weight.

Give it a try. Here's what you do...

  • Get yourself seven lemons for seven days.
  • Start off your day by having some warm water with half of a lemon squeezed in.
  • Throughout the day drink the other half of the lemon in either warm or cold water.
  • Do this for seven days and see if you notice a difference.

If you haven't already started a food diary, now would be a good time to start.

It's important not to brush your teeth right after having something acidic like lemon, as the acid makes the teeth porous and then brushing with abrasive toothpaste erodes the enamel further and makes it worse.

Some tips: drink the lemon water through a straw to limit contact with teeth, drink plain water throughout the day to help wash the acid away and wait at least an hour to brush after having something acidic.

I imagine you can avoid damaging your tooth enamel by brushing your teeth a little more often.  Brushing your teeth can also help curb your appetite.

I have heard that this can damage your tooth enamel. Do you know if that is true?
