Tunesday Tuesday - Pity Party Song

TTpitypartyJoining my lovely blogging friends for another Tunesday Tuesday, where we bring people together through music. Please take a minute to click over to their fabulous blogs and share some love with them! The hosts are:  The Patchwork Paisley, Drinking the Whole BottleMomma Candy, and MrsTeeLoveLifeLaughter

So on to this week's pick, which was a tough one for me. Not because I never throw my own little personal pity party, but because I tend to use music to get me out of the pity party, not to encourage it. Usually when I am down in the dumps or feeling sorry for myself, I listen to something to help lift me out of my funk. So I tried to find a song that fit the theme while also being one I use to jumpstart me into feeling better. Here's what I chose:

Little Miss - Sugarland (If you don't see the video below, click the link here!)

This is the song when I feel like the "little miss" and need to remember that everything will be alright. And sometimes you do have to lose until you win. Here's a section of the lyrics:

Little miss, do your best
Little miss, never rest
Little miss, be my guest, I'll make more anytime that it runs out
Little miss, you'll go far
Little miss, hide your scars
Little miss, who you are is so much more than you like to talk about

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
Yeah, sometimes you gotta lose 'til you win
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It'll be alright again
It'll be alright again, I'm okay
It'll be alright again, I'm okay (I'm okay)
It'll be alright again, I'm okay

Hold on
Hold on, you are loved
Are loved...

What's your pity party song?
