I’ll never get tired of those camel jokes.
Tuesday was quite productive. I finally tackled the kids toys, again.
I told baby girl that she could have FIVE stuffed animals, not forty-five. I let her pick ten…but only ten. I packed the rest in a bag and threw them in my closet. Yes, I’m a sucker.
I would hate if I accidentally threw out her favorite buba fish or something so it will sit for a while. Until we both forget about it and I complain there are too many toys, again.
I literally cleaned for hours on end. Just organizing or I guess, spring cleaning.
By the time hubby came home I started dinner. And not to brag (brag.brag.brag.) it was damn good!
I may have mentioned that I’m on a quinoa kick. Two days ago, it was a delicious Spring Green Quinoa Salad and tonight, Turkey Quinoa Burgers. Don’t you worry – I have one more quinoa dish that I love…hold tight, one quinoa at a time.
Honestly, this was an experiment but I love it when it blows our taste buds away by far…
When hubby likes something “healthy” I know it’s a good thing. He had two, I had two, it’s a pair of a good thing. You can make 6 burgers, which is enough for two dinners and one lunch! Woot!
It was filling and delicious. To be very honest, I forgot to make a side. We just had the burgers and it was fine with us.
Topped with pickles, tomatoes and a green, it felt like a complete meal.

On the fitness front, I was supposed to do 30 minutes of cross training. I think it got away from me. Doesn’t cleaning the house count for some kind of calorie burning workout?
I did manage to fit some yoga in…. head stand almost there….
Yeah, not really.
Stretching seems to be my thing. I don’t know what this one is called but I love the way it makes my legs stretch after a good run!
Last week, Fit Foodie Runs had three giveaways… one down.
It doesn’t have the weighed down calories that normal energy enhancing products contain (only 30 calories per gum) it gives me the boost I need and it tastes pretty darn good. When I run 6 miles, I chew one usually around mile 4. I like to finish with energy!
