[Editor's note: I've had Katrina's tutorial bookmarked since she posted it in January, under the title of "The Yellow Rose of Texture." (I crack myself up.) I tried her tutorial can finally do more than crop and optimize -- it's a legitimate Photoshop Trick! -- Julie]

Erin asked how I edited this photo so I'll show you step by step exactly how I achieved the textured look ... I had snapped a few photos of my mom's roses while visiting and nothing about the pictures really stood out to me.
