    Madness, I tell you. They call the NCAA basketball tournament March Madness for a reason. I have never seen a tournament with the kinds of upsets that we saw yesterday.Yesterday morning a total of four 15 seeds had beaten the 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Ever. It hadn't been done since Hampton beat Iowa State way back in 2001.On Friday it happened twice. Before most people even got home from work Norfolk State (15) had upset Missouri (2) 86-84, then later that evening Lehigh (15) won a pretty convincing game over perennial basketball powerhouse Duke (2).  Read more >

  2. What's Up With "Wilfred"?

    When I watched the pilot of "Wilfred" I thought it was hysterical.Weird, yes. One of the main characters is a guy dressed in a dog suit who is supposed to be a real dog. Dark, yup. The entire series began with Elijah Wood's character, Ryan, writing several drafts of a suicide letter. Quirky, silly and surreal? Indeed.  Read more >

    I teared up a little bit when I saw the news.The vote was unanimous. All 32 team representatives speaking for 1,900 members of the  NFL Players Association voted to accept the 10 year deal presented to them by the NFL Owners.  Read more >

    If you think golf is boring, you clearly weren't following the 2011 Masters.Going into the final day in Augusta, Ireland's Rory McIlroy looked like he owned it. He had a four stoke lead going into the final round, but his putting killed him on Sunday. If you want a green jacket you've got to have a long game and a short game.Then it looked like Tiger Woods was going to come up and take the championship from McIlroy. Tiger had a few beautiful shots, but he couldn't bring it home either. After six three putts, Woods ended up tying for fourth place.  Read more >

  9. Serena Williams Undergoes Emergency Surgery for Blood Clot in Lung
