I am an Ottawa mom, writer, wife, beagle owner and all-round chum. I originally came from Nova Scotia and while I left many years ago, I have not lost the ability to dismember a lobster with my bare hands. I worked for many years in high tech in both Canada and the UK as as a Technical Consultant, Engagement Manager and Director of Client Services in a number of companies including Adobe, Tomoye, Shopify and Overlay.TV. Now I'm a full time mom and social media darling. I co-host the Ottawa Brain Drain, a semi-frequent gathering of similar Social Media minds. I also do social media consulting and other work during naptimes, including communications for BlissDom Events and writing at the best places on the internet.
