  2. I'm SMRT

Emotional intelligence You may know that I’m job hunting. I’ve actually been job hunting for a year, but my memory loss issues kinda put me on hold.  I’m feeling better, plus I need to help pay for number 1 son’s college so I’m looking for work again.  I’m excited because I had two job interviews this week.  Each job was entirely different from the other.  Read more >

  3. feed your brain

I found this article in More magazine called “How to Feed Your Brain” which had some interesting tips that I thought I’d share.  It seems like everyone is an expert on brain health and everyone has ideas on how to increase your memory. In my opinion, most of them don’t work. At least, for me. And that’s really all I care about, right?  Read more >

  4. i feel weird

So...I feel weird. Not bad and not sick but just weird.  I've been taking my T4 (genric Synthroid) since Wednesday, I believe. I hadn't really noticed any symptoms. Or rather, I noticed symptoms but I didnt want to verbalize anything.  Read more >

  8. time traveler

well...i'm a time traveler of sorts. the boy graduated and i had two feelings: #1 that it seemed like I just graduated a few years ago and #2 that i couldnt believe my baby boy was old enough to graduate. To be sure, i dont feel like i'm even old enough to have kids, but i'm sure many moms feel that way.  you can imagine i experienced a host of emotions: fear, confusion, happiness, sadness, and pride. Because I have so many feelings running around through my body, i am unable to capture them all into words. so i shan't (good one, aint it?).  Read more >

  9. graduation prep

  10. i cried

I cried today. A lot.  My world crashed and fell apart in large pieces on me.  I went to the endocrinologist (Dr. Endo). I had my hopes up. High. Prolly too high. I KNEW that finally FINALLY this doctor was going help me.  I put too much hope in it. I knew that but I didn’t care.  And…of course, it happened.  Read more >

About Me:

Hi. Welcome to me. This is my personal blog where I mostly ramble on about stuff.  At 40 something I find myself  struggling with forgetfulness. Khalil Gibran says "Forgetfulness is a form of freedom", so...I must be very free!

I blog about how forgetfulness affects me and anything else that comes to mind. I have two teenagers, one in college.  I love my friends even the ones who exist in the computer. I hate mushiness (food and cards) but I love to laugh and to have a good time. I like reading, thrifting, coffee, vodka, my dog, and kitty. In that order.

I currently am torturing live in the Philly area but I have lived in Pittsburgh, San Antonio, Houston, and Austin (not in that order). Hey wait, actually IN that order. neat!

If you can't get enough of me, feel free to contact me at: mailforpam@iyampam.com. I promise to answer. Might not be in English, but whatever, right?

so...now what? go get a cup of coffee and get me one while you're up will ya?
