As an Associate Editor for a teen news site and freelance writer, I explore thought-provoking news topics in a way that relates to women and journalists. From the less sugary aspect of pop culture, to the more pertinent topics of women's rights, my goal is to start a discussion about gender, class and other cultural topics important to the modern feminist.

After traveling to Ghana during graduate school at New York University and later to India, women's roles abroad (and at home) are of particular interest to me. And, being a twenty-something living in New York City, fashion, food and pop culture are always mixed into the dialogue.
