I write a blog called the food yenta. i love food. i love cooking, growing, shopping, talking and of course eating food. i heart a great restaurant and of course any great recipe or cookbook.

i rant about farmers markets often and eating local is my thing. i tend to rant about organic foods as well (i also talk about my kids). sometimes new and interesting restaurants or bakeries excite me as well as cheese.

cooking is something i love, something that brings me joy and freedom. the kitchen is one of my favorite places. whether it’s to flip through a magazine or sip a cup of tea, it’s my place, the place where i can create and have fun, get dirty and explore.
