About Me: 

I am  a painter who lives in Glendale Arizona.   I am also a mom and wife who also feeds and cleans up after a wonderful dog, 4 cats (yes, it says 4), a gecko, several fish and an adorable desert tortoise who lives in the back yard.  I have a degree in Wildlife Biology and am passionate about wild things living in wild places, so much of my art centers around nature.   My ultimate fantasy is to become a children’s book author and illustrator and to live half my time in the U.S. and half my time in England.

Inspired to stop looking for great advice and start following it, I invited my best friend Tracy  to stop waiting for the "perfect opportunity" to show itself, with me, and commit to a year of doing what we love.  Tracy has started writing again and I'm painting again.  We blog about the many ways finally doing what we love to do positively impacts our lives at The Dao of Doing.
